When I was doing some dremelling today, I noticed that the throttle body hit a hump on the intake manifold. If any of you are still experiencing high idle, or TB and intake not sealing right, you should check it. I had to dremel a little bit of that hump off to get it to lie flat against the mating surfaces.

im messing with a jeep tb and it's in the way. maybe less than 2mm of it is in the way but just enough to make you grind it away. If you put yours together and don't notice it's not sealing... you don't need to be installing it yourself.

i got one of the the first ones out and it didn't have that problem... interesting.

I had to shave that area also. It wouldnt lay flush without doing so. Did you buy the throttle body for the sohc NEON? is that how you got a blue one? I asked for a blue anodized one but they said they didnt make them. bummer.

When i called them they said they werent in stock and had some on the way. So I think they do anodized blue ones now. I ordered thinking I was getting the plain polished one but they sent me the blue one anyways without me even requesting a blue one.
