Yea so as if my car does'nt have enough problems, My car has yet another. When I am at idle and I rev a little bit up to like 3k sometimes the car will buck. Now if I do a heavy tap on the gas from 1k-3500k she backfires sometimes big ol'' POP!. What do you think could be the problem? Could it be the fuel map? I was having o2 sensor problems but I was able to fix the sensor today and the light went off but now this shit happens. What could be the problem.

What do you mean by "fixing" the o2 sensor? What was wrong with it? Could be many things that can cause the motor to backfire...

well the wire was loose from the o2 sensor like dangling.. it was rubbbin up against one of my belts and the wire frayed off and woaahlah.. no connection.. so i recrimped the wires back together and the o2 sensor is working now. This sputtering and backfire just started happening yesterday morning. It backfired out the intake side, if my eyes serve me correctly which I thought was bizare. It just has a hard time keeping idle and up to 3k. When I move it from park into D then it really started to bog and i can feel it in the pedal and steering wheel. I have done some searching and could it possibly be my plugs?

Ok.. let me specify.. more time than others is there anything in particular that is usually the most found issue. Or am I gonna have the joy of going through everything most likely to get to the bottom of this problem?

I was going to suggest o2 sensor but then I noticed you already tinkered with that. Try resetting the ECU, if you've had any sort of fuel control on there sometimes the settings like to stick even when you reset the ECU the first couple times. I had that issue and it blew my o2 sensor to hell.

Fixed it.. check engine light came on after awhile and cylinder #1 was misfiring. So I changed my spark plugs and changed my wires. Did'nt need to do the wires because the plugs fixed it, but I figured i'd be precautionary and do the wires anyway since my car is getting at 100k miles.

HAHA.

Alright man .. take it easy on me.. lol.. with all my recent luck lately I would have expected this to be something much bigger. I also overlooked that it could be the spark plugs because I just replaced them not even 6 months ago, so I ruled that out rite away. Anyway yea, Im a tard sometimes you all just need to learn to deal with it. lol
