8713, Need help on cat back
Posted by Twiste, Oct-13-01 05:51 AM
I am looking for a great cat back at a reasonable price. I dont want one of those ricey sounding ones but maybe just a low rumbling sounding one. I heard that the EVO was a good choice when it came to non-rice sound but the cheapest i can find it is $495. I was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere to get it cheaper or a better sounding one.

Also If i put on new headers and a new CAI do i need to get a new catback because the stock is too restrictive? If i do need a whole cat back could i just get a universal muffler that is less restrictive? Will that work instead of buying the whole downpipe to muffler?

Thanx,
Devon

If you arent planning on having a 300hp 420a I dont think there will be any noticable difference on different mufflers/exhaust systems.
