hey, i think this a pretty unique problem, and i didnt get time to search to much. anyway, i first noticed that the car was missing at an idle right after i hooked up the fuel solanoid for a nitrous kit (i did not shoot the nitrous yet).>>for your info, it was attached to to shrader valve<< i didnt think much of it, so i drove out, and tryed the nitrous (worked great) and came back...no problems. but one day later when it was cold out (just about 0 degrees F) it was acting really cold blooded, but once it got warmed up it was fine. i drove it for like a week til i got time to work on it again, and during that time i noticed that i was getting half the gas mileage (10-13 mpg)!! and i had someone follow me to check for smoke, and there was black smoke (unburned gas). so last weekend i broughtit back to stock, by disconnecting the fuel solanoid, bleed the fuel line (by use ofthe shrader valve), changed plugs, and even sprayed alot of carb cleaner down the intake mani thinking it would clean off any dirty sensors from the nitrous.

i have no idea what else this could be...you all have helped me alot before, if you have any ideas please tell me. gas prices are up to 2.10-2.40$ per gallon! thanks everyone.

o2 sensor OR your solenoid is sticking open a little bit or installed incorrectly and dumping fuel

a 70mm tb is too fuggin big.

lol, i know 70mm is big, im planning on alot. and i did disconnect the fuel solanoid, and bring the car back to stock (before the nitrous) and i bleed the fuel rail thinking that might help, but it is still acting the same.

is there any way to test the 02 sensor besided get a new one?? if not, than anyone got a working 02 sensor? lol

Just replace the O2 sensor and see if it helps. The sensor is not that expensive and it is probably due to be replaced anyway. Then go from there

What did the plugs look like when you pulled them? And was the fuel solenoid used when you bought it? What brand?

so you still have the schrader valve installed?
Even with your fuel line attached?

How the hell did you get that 70mm throttle body to connect right? WTF is that, 60mm is overkill.. but 70. Fucking redic.

do you have any guages? What is your a/f looking like, that will tell you 100% if its your 02 sensor or not.


edit: i want to see pics of your exhaust. I was thinking of doing something along the lines of this anyway.

no, i took the shrader valve out to test the nitrous, then i put it back in (just left the fuel soenoid sitting there). the fuel solanoid is a edlebrock pro (but it is disconected)

i did just replace the o2 sensor with a new bosch, didnt help. i was thinking it might be the wiring job i did with my a/f guage, im going to redo that tonight. the a/f guage does not read right, so i am just going to tempararally disconnect it for the test drive.

the plugs were very carboned up (this was after a week of driving like this). so i got new cheap ones, that didnt work.

as for the 70mm TB, lol. the upper intake mani is custom built 12 guage aluminum. (barely fits, less than 1/8 of an inch from the top of the firewall--kina hard to explain the setup)

So by "true dual exhaust" do you mean you have 1 pipe per 2 cylinders? If so you've done the two worst possible things you can do to your car. Bigger TB and bigger exhaust on a NA car of that magnitude make you slower and give you this horrible bogging you're experiening. 57mm is as high as you should go NT even with that little 75 shot of n2o. And your exhaust shouldn't be more than 2.5" until you go turbo.

i highly doubt that its those 2 things (intake, exhaust) because i have had those on there for a wile before this happened. and just to let you know, i did change out the coolant sensor, unpugged the A/F guage, and reset the ECU. nothing helped, lol. pretty soon i am going to have to take it to a shop (i never do this-ever) because this is annoying as hell, and draining my money. so... any last advice, please tell me now. thanks.
