I'm just wondering what would happen if I were to remove my cat and just replace it with a normal pipe with exhaust clamps. Would my car be extremely loud or just a deeper tone. I"m looking for the deeper tone. What is a test pipe and would that help in noise conservation. I'm looking to just increase low end power and keep my cars exhaust quiet. Thanks, Cory

I removed my cat from my front bumper last week, the sound of my exhaust didn't change, but there's no longer any meowing coming from the front of my car. :shrug
