86660, Rough idle..plugs/coil?

my car is idling fine when it first starts but once its warmed up it stays in the 700-800rpm range..but its very pulsy and it sounds like somethin knocking from the engine..could that be b/c of plugs or my coil?

edit- the car also shakes noticeably

Well the easiest place to start would be replacing the spark plugs and the plug wires...sometimes it's just that simple..and ofcourse, othertimes not :)

Did you ever fix the problem?

I am having the exact problem and I replaced/gapped the plugs, replaced the iac vavle, cleaned the throttle body, and replaced the throttle body gasket. I also replaced the tiny filter in the missing link... the inside of the throttle body was COMPLETELY covered in carbon build up.

At initial startup when cold it idles with with 8psi vac (according to greedy ebc) or -15in/hg and then after it warms up and I drive it the idle becomes loppy and the vacuum is anywhere from -10in/hg to almost 0 (this is diffent almost every time... but in the same range)

have you replaced the plug wires? I had this same problem and found it to just be bad wires.

I am having the same issues. Lopey idle, and vac @10. From what I have read in other posts, I think that my timing belt has skipped a tooth. My car has jumped a few teeth before to the point where it wouldnt even run.

I guess that I will be checking the timing here in a week or so.
