Just curious what are some expected compression numbers to get with 10.5:1 pistons
12.5:1 pistons as well

I am seeing about 280-290 psi on what are suppost to be 10.5:1 pistons. I fear that they are in reality 12.5:1, and I am going to be investing in a lot of race fuel to get rid of some agravating detonation.

You could run 11.5:1 on 93 with stock timing. 12.5:1 is possible on 93 pulling a few degrees of timing up top.

i thought i saw in another post that those were about what they should be for 10.5:1, not positive tho

you CAN run 12.5:1 with pulling timing, but I have to pull the damn timing so much that the benefits of high compression are way more than lost.

Why not just run Water /Methonal then imo.
