i have a cel 32 that came on. i was curious if that could cause my car, when it has been sitting over night and i start it, for it to warmup weird. After a few minutes, the rpms will jump up high and then go back down low and almost stall out, the car will do this for like 5 mins and then idle fine.

if you have a vacuum leak because of taking off the EGR and not plugging the hole in the back of the manifold for the EGR vacuum port. That could cause weird idle... as for the CEL get rid of it by putting a large resistor in there 10watt 100ohm and unplug ur ECU and let it set for a while. Come back plug everything in and start ur car. (make sure you wrap up each end of the resistor so they don't touch each other.

i dont believe i have an idle leak, cause idle is fine, its just when the car is warming up it will almost die out and then rev up real high and slowly settle down, it only does this for like a few minutes. I didnt remove the egr stuff at all. i reset the comp though and it hasnt come back on yet

plugged EGR system or bad valve IMO.
