Here's the PRE-Motor build pic. Fresh block .020 over. bearings, crank, pistons, new oil pump and a whole gasket kit. I saved $430 over retail getting everything through the shop. wOoot.

EDIT: and a little turby saying HI! :wavy

And here is the after. :)

No valvetrain in there yet. That's tomorrow.

Is that "Bling-In-A-Can?" We did some painting down here in Phoenix today too, but I'm not posting any pictures until she runs. I almost can't take my eyes off my engine bay...

That engine is looking badass...the gunmetal VC = whoaness.

Brings back some memories of last year when I was putting everything together on my engine. Though I ended up getting a pre-built shortblock, if I do blow it up, I'll take on building it myself the next time.

Gotta love winter

lets just hope it stays that pretty...ive never had good luck with spraypainting either my block or valvecover....but i did have good luck with the paint used to paint my car...hmmm, ones designed for high heat and chemicals, and ones designed for a car exterior?? go figure

Looks really good Blair. I did almost the same thing as you with my rebuild, I didnt' put in forged rods either. I did however put in some Wiseco 8:8:1's new water & oil pumps, mls head gasket, mopar gasket set, etc. I just bought some 270cc injectors and a recalibration kit for my cartech. I'll probably try to run 10-12 psi and call it a day. I show my car way more than I take it to the track. Any way here is a pic of mine just before I put her back in. Enjoy!!
