I had the buzz, it was a deep buzz tho. Sure, a buzz, but not the dirt bike high buzz of a HonDUH, a nice growling buzz. U get it. I got tired of it tho, because it was loud, an put in a glasspack resonator. It sounds quite nice now. Nice throaty, growl and damn, the intake sounds so loud, I made my dad drive by the house so I cold hear. I didn't believe it was my car it looked and sounded so nice that night. :P

In one word... Yes. If you wantto quiet it down a bit and relieve some of buzzing. weld in a resonator. Cheribomb will work... did for Jason.

True, Michael... I'm guessing it did help the noise. But I installed mine at the same time I installed the whole exhaust system. I did it per Corbin's own setup and noise control was important to me.
However, I think it wasn't as important to me at that point, as it was for Corbin, since I already has a turbo system installed. (At the time Corbin did his, he was n/a) Turbos muffle exhaust noise.
The only modification I did to better manage my sound to the level of growl and tone that I desired was to get a different muffler. I changed out my dual barrel 4" SS muffler for the dual tipped Arospeed DTM muffler (that Michael likes so well). That was the single biggest change that I made. The dual 4" exhaust was too droney for me (but perfect for Ryan, so he has it now)
So like it or not, I think the biggest mod you can do to control your sound emissions from a noisy exhaust is get a different muffler. Then ask others how they liked the sound. One more thing, it'll take a week or so to get used to the sound. After that, you probably won't notice the sound as much as you once did.

I just did the same thing to my 99 GS. And it's loud. I was think of doing the glassback also. It's just as loud as when I had my 95 GS with headers, magnaflow muffler, and hi-flow cat. How much was the glasspack resonator? What size did you get?

the glass pack resonator is a cherry bomb one, it had a 2 1/2 inlet and outlet, and it was 29 1/2 inches long, we had to cut it up a lil on the ends to make it fit between the O2 sensor and one of the hangers. i am totally impressed with the sound i get from my exhaust now! i was kinda pissed when my shit sounded like a honduh................... oh yeah, and the total for it was like 17.99, 20 bux after tax
