85775, Concerning PCV valve system setup

Hi, how you doing guys.
I think many of us are very confused and not sure on this issue on the PCV value thing.

Before and after I started turbo charging my car 1 year ago, I was reading, and researching on this topic, but what I found was no PCV needed and just route both value cover to a catch can. and up to today, I am still not sure.

About a few weeks from now, I start reading about this PCV value setup again, coz my engine blew, and I really want to find out HOW IT SHOULD BE SETUP after my new engine is done!

Can someone who has this type of knowledge or know it by FACT, post some info here please. so all of us can get it STRAIGHTEN out.

For the following 3 questions, can someone please answer them under the 3 conditions where most of us will face (all this is for 420A engine):

- Rebuilt engine using total seal piston ring (turbo charged)
- Engine using traditional piston ring (turbo charged)
- Engine without turbo charger.

1) Does a PCV value needed for each of the above condition?
2) Should the PCV value be taken off, seal the intake side, and connect both value cover hose to a catch can?
3) Take off the PCV value, seal both intake side and value cover side, and ONLY connect the breather hose on the value cover to the catch can and connect the other hose of the catch can to the intake hose of the turbo?
4) OR should it be another completely differnet setup?

Thank you all!
I greatly appreciated this information!
Gil

gilee ever since you've been on, you did a shitload of asking that I found all the answer to when I searched on my own. It's not that people don't want to answer your questions. It's because they are redundant. You've been on here long enough to know how to use the search engine, but yet you ask questions like a guy who just got his car and don't even know what fuel to use. Sometimes I just want to tell you to sell your car, get a honda and upgrade the intake, exhuast and header just to make your life easier. You're like a girl asking if these pants make her look too fat. And a lot of times you make me wanna drive down to norwalk or stamford, where ever you are, and put your car together for you just so you would shut up. Searching is easy, which is why the only time I ask a question, it ends up as a comment to get an update on an old beat down subject. Searching is easy. First you go to the forum which you think the topic is most likely under. Then you type in key words or phrases. Next thing you know, a whole shitload of topics come up. I'm gonna do you a favor. To make your life easier and to save bandwith ont this site, I want you to shoot me an email with questions that you can't find the answer to. I will personally answer you in the email.
