Alright guys, here's my new motor going into the turbo's world. I got the shortblock and Spec stage 3 for $1150 shipped to my door if you can believe that. I talked to the guy and he said the motor and the clutch only had just at 1,000 miles on it. I know he kinda made up some stuff in the auction about it being a evo type r spec and crap, but that was just so it would sell, I think I got a steal for the price, what do you all think? What are some things I should look at to make sure the shortblock is still in good working condition? Suggestions?? Lemme know, with everything that I got, I should have payed will over the $2,000 region right?? Well, here's the Ebay site. Don't mind the B.S. he made up to sell it.

You can also request his personal information from ebay, they'll give you his name, address, phone number, all kinds of stuff (might have to request it through squaretrade, either way you start in ebay). I've had to go through this type of thing many of times (i've spent way too much time and money with ebay). You also said you paid with paypal, paypal has 5000usd buyer protection in which from what i read they actually talk to the bank wherever the money is deposited or most of the time the money is stored in the paypal account and they can sometimes refund your money if the matter is resolved. Just some things i think i'd be looking into, just to keep you from getting screwed in the deal.

Well, I had asked him to end the auction early when he said he's sell it for $1150 cuz it would have sold for way more. I payed with paypal and he sent it already, I have the tracking number of the box with the shortblock in it and the box with the other stuff, so it's on it's way right now. It will be here Monday of next week. Hopefully they're not just 2 empty boxes. I'll tell ya, it's a cruel world with a lot of dickheads out there. I can't request his information because I didn't go through ebay, but I have 31 days from the date of purchase to put in a complaint with paypal. I think I'll be safe. The guy who stole it and sold it to me is really good at communicating though, I'm trying to see if there's any way for me to get his address without giving it away. He even hooked me up on shipping if you can believe that. Lol. What a nice thief. (NOT) I hope everything works out though. I feel really bad for Darkreality though, I would seriously do some horrible things to that man. I'm gettin worked up just thinking about my shit getting jacked. Well, anyways.

We know who the thief was and I guess the detectives are hot on their asses, so basically THEY'RE SCREWED. :dark I can't believe this happend, the thief was pretty damn stupid to put it on ebay though, I think it's hilarious. Everyone knows that if somebody stole something from you, ebay is the first place to look. :nono Oh well, they will pay.

And a few days later recovered the car AFAIK. Wow. I've always thought it would be funny for someone to steal car parts then post on eBay and the original owner sees it. I guess it finally happened.

Update is, the crooks asses are in jail for wasting my time and for screwing over Darkreality. They insurance company, as I figured, wants the motor back. Oh well, at least two assholios are in jail for being extra stupid. The story behind it is, I emailed the crooks saying I knew the motor was stolen, (as soon as I found out from Darkreality that they jacked it from him) I told them they had 30 minutes to get my money back to me including shipping or else I would call the cops and report them :nono. I told them a bullshit story that I knew it was stolen because my brother is some insurance person and we looked up the vin and it came up stolen. I told them if they gave my money back, they would not be in trouble so they wouldn't panic and think the cops were on to them (they already were). The dumbassses gave me every penny back that night :eek, even shipping money. I knew if the thieves got my money, and the insurance company would want the motor back, I might get screwed :scratch, so I thought that was the best way out. Just thought I would share a funny story with everyone, because I think it's hilarious. I hope they don't come after me thinking I put them in jail after their sentence is over :dark. Well, when I talked to the detective, he said the insurance company gave him some money, not sure how much though (probably not enough) The insurance people are taking the motor back for themselves, so when you see an 2gnt that says State Farm on the side that's turbo'd, you'll know where it came from. :7
