ok, first, i see that people with electronic dumps say that it's REALLY loud. but, why does the ATP "mechanical" dump sound almost stock?

and second, does the Norwalk Race Way allow dumps before the seats? (before the cat) and what about most tracks around your area?

What was the sound clip they had from? I'm guessing a VW with a stock turbo the size of my left nut. Depends on the turbo and motor when it comes to exhuast note, with or without a cutout. Your best bet is to find someone local that has a cutout on their 4G63 and listen to it or just run open down pipe for a few runs and piss off the neighbors. :)

As far as tracks...I've been to 3 different tracks around the valley and none cared about having a cutout that dumped to the ground but I can't speak for the track in Norwalk. Do they have a telephone number you can call?

yeah, i just looked at their site again and it says "Completely quiet and stock-like sounding during startup, idle, and cruising.".. not WOT. that VW has a GT28RS turbo kit with 15psi and it sounds pretty nice. although my eclipse will probably sound nothing like it.

where is this sound clip? im curious too. nevermind, i found it.

my car was really loud with the cutout open at wide open full boost 6000rpm's, you can only imagine...

so i got some vortex exhaust cones that dont slow down flow at all and welded them in. i experimented with resonators to get the sound i wanted and thats pretty much the best way i found to do it and be happy with it
