Hi,
What are some of the fastest all motor eclipse/talon speeds?
Also, would all the money put into an all motor fast engine just equal the money youd put into a turbo?

15.621 is the fastest time right now. I think that with in 6 months someone will be hitting 14's!!!!!
That should be taken as a CHALLENGE for those that want to make all motor power. I am going to try to go to the track on Thurs. so I should have some times then.

Nope!!!!!! You are gonna spend more all motor. Internals cost the same amount but you are gonna spend $2000 on a turbo kit and already be faster than all motor.

I would put all that money into buying an Eclipse Turbo to start with. That's the best way to start. That 15.621 was done about 2.5 years ago, and I haven't wasted any more money in trying to beat it. I'm waitin' on my M3 to come in.

wut up yo, i had pretty much all basic bolt-on parts: exhaust, headers, intake, spark plugs, etc, etc. i custom built a ram-air intake with some piping that i had bought. the intake connects to the hole in the front bumper, next to left foglight. next thing was stripping the car: interior, trunk, etc...if it could be unscrewed or if it was loose, it had to go. at the track, basically, all i had was my steering wheel, the seat on my ass, and the shifter. the cd player stayed, because i liked to jam while i did the 1320. :)
