i had posted earlier last week bout an electrical prob, in which i replaced the computer, and then the alternator. but it still does the same thing, which is...it will start fine and run fine for like 5 min then the tach goes to zero, and i have to pump the gas so it revs a lil bit and it wont rev about about 3 grand. also if i put the pedal down past halfway it chokes out. and when it dies it seems like its having electrical power loss like the wipers will be super slow and everything dims. its all sorts of fukt up. any help from anyone will help. TIA.

coolant temp sensor maybe, Ive seen many funky problems like that from the cts

i will try that since its only like 20 bucks, but would that cause it to act like the alternator is dead and slowly lose electrical power? i'm just tryin to get done with this without droppin another 250 into stuff. but i was thinkin their might be a relay or fuse that might have blown i'm missing now. still, all ideas are good ones to me at this point, and the original problem was my fault by the way...hooked up the jumper cables backwards for a min. (dumass i know...lol)

The first thing I'd check is what kind of battery voltage the car sees. Ground a probe on the frame somewhere, and hook the other side of the probe to +12 of the battery. Then measure the difference between ground on the battery and the frame, which should idealy be 0. The factory grounding system sucks, the wire coming off of the negative terminal of the battery to the frame actually came out of it's crimped connecter one day, but I never noticed because I had a redundant grounding system installed.
