well my goal is to eliminate my 97 eclipse fuel press reg. and use one from a 95 talon. because i want to properly run my zex dry kit. but will this even work? can i just bolt the 95 fr. on to my 97 and just re run some of the lines to make them work or is there a mounting diff or anything ? will my ecu have a problem with this or no? and can someone pls explain the theory behind the 97+ FPR. i dont quite understand it. how does it reglulate fuel press without a vacuum line?

You could.

You need to run a return line back to the tank.

You then need to take out the current fpr and cap/ re-run the lines that are back there.

The 97+ works because its sets your fp to 50psi. Thats it, your ecu controlls the injectors and gives your car the correct air/fuel.

it would be a big pain in the ass to do what you are doing. I would just get a 1:1 reg if I were to do this, rather then swap fuel rails. Just my .02
