84489, OEM Exhaust gasket for greddy evo exhaust? Posted by thefunkpig, Jan-08-05 04:00 PM
Hey guys i'm putting on my greddy evo2 this weekend, 1) do i need to get any gaskets (my dc header didnt come with any so i had to buy some) and 2) if so, i'm assuming im gonna need one from the exhaust to the cat, and i was wondering if i should just get another OEM one or do i need one with a larger diameter hole (i.e. 2.5" opening exhaust gasket)? Sorry if I sound retarded, its just that i havent gotten the exhaust yet and i want to get it done as soon as possible, TIA

Yah they should be ok. Just check them befor you put them on. If the inside diameter is bigger then just trim the inside of the gasket.

Triming OEM gaskets (especially the inner metal ring), might damage the seal. Better rethink about this one.
