well i want to know how the fuel pressure regulator on a 97 and up eclipse or talon works? because i hooked up a dry nitrous kit and it uses the vacuum from the one hose on the reg. but i heard that 97 up dont use vacuum lines on the reg. if this is true than why does my zex kit work with the hose its connected to on the reg. ? i know one hose has gas in it but other hose goes to front of car, i am ruinning the vacuum port from the zex module to the line that goes to the front of my car so what exactly is this line for then ?

3 lines on the stock reg: IN from the fuel pump, RETURN back to the tank, regulated pressure to the front of the car.
You're sending fuel to your ZEX module. You can't correctly utilize a dry shot on a 96+ 2GNT.

ok so if i understand this right. there is an inlet and out for fuel on the reg. and the regulated fuel line correct? well if i have my zex box connected to the regulated fuel line than how is my car still running? cause i know fuel isnt coming into my zex module so ? also why is it necessary to use a regulator vacuum line anyway for the zex kit.

Because that's how a dry kit works. It essentially forces an increase in fuel pressure to create enrichment for the nitrous - a pretty stupid idea all in all, because its not done in any controlled manner.
Dry kits are not made for 96+ 2GNT's and I'd be surprised if you were getting any enrichment at all when you spray. Sell the dry kit and buy a wet kit before you hurt your motor.

well. i dunno.. what if i eliminate my fpr and jus get an fmu or something.. would that work? i know the kit works cause im runnin a 75 shot and it def faster with it on, and my A/F gauge reads rich when i use it. but i dunno. my car runs rich as it is cause i elimated all my emission junk .
