84204, Engine Block for rebuild... Posted by gilee_8, Jan-01-05 04:56 PM
Sup guys. Does any of you guys know what I should look for when getting another Engine Block for rebuild with HOWELL kit, then put into my car?
I know Junk yard is a good way to get one, but I want something cheap and easy to talk to. almost all junkyard around here (NYC) are all SHIT and asshole.
BTW, does any of you have an extra Engine Block sitting around that want to sell? I need a good condition Block with Crank for rebuild. I don't want any cylinder wall damage thou. Thanks guys! Gil

i have a block sitting in my garage that i've been wanting to build for a while now. i work at a machine shop and could get the pistons and rods, bearings, and oil pump, have it balanced also if ya want...your call. it would take a couple weeks to finish all the maching though. let me know if ya want it...chris

Are you still talking about a block? I have never had trouble striking up a conversation with any block before, but the 426 Hemi is a lot of fun to talk to. It never forgets a thing. And, if you can tell me why a 426 Hemi motor would never forget anything, I will think of you as a full halfwit (which, in this case, would be an improvement).
