does anybody have a writeup for this? maybe something like mataljim's jeep tb one. 70mm tb on a 2.4 turbo makes me drool...chris

seems a little overkill to me. You already have to grind a fair amount of metal away to make the 60mm one fit. I don't think the manifold would flow well enough to see a benifit even if the engine could use a 70 mm TB. There are supercharged V8s that require only a throttle body of that size.

A 70mm tb was an upgrade on the 5.0 mustangs, even the 4.6. I think you're gonna reach a saturation point with a 70mm on a 2.0, even if it was a 2.6 I think it may be too much unless lotsaboost...

thanks for the input fellas, i was planning on building an intake mani similar to the fast fab's design and i had read that they came with a 70mm tb and were designed for the 2.0. so, i figured for my 2.4 swap, more displacement would require more air and yes there will be a big turbo on there also. from what i've read it's a little difficult to keep the front wheels on the ground at launch until you get the 3.55 tranny and a bigger tb will lose some torque anyway...chris
