I remember reading a post Dino made back in the day about start up proceedures where he said he would turn the car on and have a smoke while the wideband heated up. Don't remember if this was turning the car systems on, but not actually starting the car, or starting and letting the engine warm up before driving anywhere.
If you have your MS controlling your AFR, could you do any damage by starting the car immediately and having the MS possibly see false AFR numbers? How long does it take for the typical, heated wbO2 to "warm up?"
Just wondering if there was any sort of precautions to take with a set up like that before I come face to face with it here soon.

a lot of that was waiting for the CAR to warm up. it didn't like running cold.
The Wideband would start reading accurately within about thirty seconds to a minute of the car starting, but this may have had more to do with it being about two inches away from the turbine housing outlet than the actual heater circuit.

Most of the "wideband" O2 sensors used in the inexpensive comercial units are OEM, factory sensors for some application or another.
The Bosch unit was used in Hondas. Do you think they waited for them to heat up before they started the car?
The LM sensor is $40. Does it matter?

You get that wideband setup yet, DR? If I wasn't hurting for rubber that'd be my next buy.
