i was going to start the car up today but didnt know if the batt was too low. i have the dash and all the gauges out due to glassing it all but i was wondering if since the center gauges arent in will that keep the car from turning over?? thanks happy turkey day

it didnt that is why i asked. didnt know if the battery was too low but i jumped it and the starter didnt even turn over.

weird i just had my dash out to paint it black and i started mine withour the dash in....but i had the speedo and shit sittin on the metal that holds the dash in...i had to drive that night so thats why i started it with out the dash in

I dont quite understand but I am able to start and run my car without the gauge cluster. Is that what you mean.. I dont see how the dash has anything to do with whether or not the car will work or not.

if you have the dash wiring harness pluged in but don't have the dash and gauges in, it should start.
