If its fucked it up sorry to say but do it right the first time. If you have to ask.... you know. I've heard alot of people say the rings will never seal properly if all you do it re-hone. Not sure how accurate or how far off compression you will see. If it was my car (which i was in the same situation) i would overbore. My block only had a lil scratch in the cylinder wall and i overbored anyway.

my car will sound like, bumbabumbubavrooooooooooooooomrooooooooahhhhhhhhhhhhh, kishhhhhh

when xtremers engine blew up a week before the shootout he next day'd a piston to his house and we slapped it in there, no shop bore. compression is ok, i dont remember the numbers, but it is only a temporary fix for him.

My block was fine, I swap pistons/rings and compression was good. This new block is a different story, though...
