Each morning when i start my car, if i dont let her warm up for at least a minute i will get mild to moderate hesitation until the car has warmed itself up. Does this sound like a coil/wire/plug issue? I replaced my coil a while back and i used connectors to hold the wires together, could this be a problem? What am i looking at here? I have new plugs and wires going in today so i'll see if that works.

Are you running an afc?

i dont have any form of tunable software/hardware.

Plugs, wires, coil. Then think about injectors. I've been working on the injector side with the Neon. I replaced the coil, plugs, and wires by replacing them individually with known good parts, and the problem was still there. I have to go out and install the original injectors tonight in a bit (had them cleaned and flowed last week).

i have the same thing...cars running too rich every car when it's cold runs rich but for some reason ours run even richer. i thought was plugs wires etc, but mine are all new. do a search for stuttering, or hesitation theres many posts about this

Another thing to check would be the coolant tempature sensor. When the car is cold, the coolant tempature sensor tells the ECU that the engine is not up to operating tempature and it will richen things up.

mine does the same thing. i replaced my plugs and wires and it didnt really help. It only happens when its really cold out though, and even if the engine temp normalizes it still does it until i get down the road a little bit. Anyways, i have read through like 50 posts that are on here and they all say coil pack, plugs, or wires.

Until someone actually finds a real solution, im used to it.. :shrug

ive replaced the coil/wires/plugs within 6 months as well as the coolant temp sensor. If you do searching on the word hesitation you will find my name in more than 75 percent of the posts. Thisnt isnt a major thing, i just dont like the popping that comes from my tail pipe, kind of embarrasing.
