Want to get a new coil and found a couple on Howell's sit. The MSD and the Screamin' Demon coils. Which one is better? Does it matter? Is there one that is better than those two? Any direction would be GREEATLY appreciated!!

I really like the MSD. It hasnt let me down yet, yet.:)

The MSD is a direct stock replacement.
The screamin' demon has a higher output.
I chose the screamin' demon to use with my CRANE ignition.

Can it be used with stock other ignition parts? I know that a hotter spark is generally better. I will be adding the better wires to go with the coil. I just want to get the better components since I am buying new anyway.

whatever is cheapest. from what ive heard, they are all the same thing.

I'm using the demon with everything else stock, no problems here

yeah i got the msd because i needed a coil FAST

hasnt failed yet, shrug

I used the msd and no probs and have always used Msd on all my cars when needed.So my opinion may be biased.....but I never had a prob before or now with them.
