Look, I've tried the search, but to no avail...
I NEED to perform basic maintenance tonight, MOST ESPECIALLY THE THERMOSTAT
It's snowin' balls here, and I cant obtain extra gaskets if I break open the wrong housing... Please help me
On my '95 GSX, there appears to be TWO thermostat housings.
WHICH ONE HOUSES THE THERMOSTAT? (furthermore, what does the "other" one house? )
I'll TRULY appreciate any help.

RTV works wonders, bring the housing inside to warm up and apply.

Hmmm, that's like something relevant... -only different
thanks, I figured it out (btw, why thehell would you use rtv sealant on a thermostat housing? an O-ring seals it... )

Dude I thought you were in a pinch or something ..... no biggie just throwing an idea at you is all.You'd be suprised to probablly know that there are some people here that don't know basic skills or even what rtv is lol
