8132, Exhaust for GS-T on a GS?
Posted by 2fst4u, Nov-25-01 10:51 AM
Im looking at purchasing a Racing Medalion cat-back for my 97' GS. From looking at prices and availabilty, the exhaust is cheaper and easier to find for a GS-T. My question is can I alter the piping on the exhaust to fit a GS instead and save some doe?

it will fit as is, only turbo exhaust that won't fit is GSX. The piping on this particular exhaust is kinda big for n/a applications. I think it's 3" which means you'll lose some low-end from it.

well, a gsx wouldn't fit your car regaurdless cause the way it's routed to make room for the drivetrain and a gs-t and gsx piping would be the same size.

it'll be perfectly fine if you turbo, the larger size will aid the turbo in spooling up quicker.
