Ok, I havent really been driving my car alot lately, and the last time i drove it, it hesitates and when idoling, it feels like i have put a cam inside the car and it feels like it is going to stall out even in neutral. I took it tonight to fill up and my wife put the windshield wipers on and she put them on fast and it moved extremely slow. I have no clue on what is going on. I have my bike and that is about it. i do alot of driving and i cant depend on my bike cause of rain and stuff like that. What is causing this?? anyone know?

wouldn't hurt to do a big tune up. new plugs, new wires, fuel filter, throw some fuel injector cleaner in your tank the next time you fill up, clean your throttle body with carb cleaner, take off your iac and clean inside it. i dunno, there's lots more, but try those.

i have just replaced my fuel filter, wires or only a year or so old, i may need new plugs, did the fuel injector cleaner about 2 fill ups ago, and what is the IAC?? throttle body is clean already. anything else to help me out?

It sounds to me like a power issue, kinda like the wipers were reaching the limits of your cars power output or something. I'd say check power stuff. Check all your wiring, try to find out what is drawing so much power. My car has the crappy idle too, but i guess that's what 150k miles does to a car :shrug

well i think i am about to blow a piston or something. it has a really bad knock that i didnt hear before. i replaced the wires and the plugs and cleaned out the intake but it still idols really rough. am i right when i say that the bad knock is a piston about to blow?? Besides my bike, this is my only transportation, and if hurrican ivan isnt enough, hurricane superman is!! this sucks!!! need answers quick!!

to be honest, i dont really know. i heard it and shut it down as i heard it. it sounds like it is comming from up top, but i could be wrong. i am soooo scared right now about it. I dont have the money to get it fixed and i dont have another car to drive so i am fucked either way. between hurrican ivan and this i am screwed!

Today i was off and i took all the new spark plugs out and checked for carbon buildup. i also took the brake booster off and bought a quart of transmission fluid, put the brake booster on it and cleaned it out as best as i could. i have never seen that much white smoke come out of the exhaust. i also have a huge header crack cause it came out from right down the center of the header, so i guess i need a new one of those as well (i have had one for about 3 years and have never put it on but i am missing the bottom half so that is something else i need to buy). i found out that the knocking is comming from the tranny. the engine shakes so bad that it is causing the tranny to shake. when i push in on the clutch, the knocking stops. still runs like shit, so i dont know what the hell is wrong with it. any other suggestions?
