81067, weird noises in engine bay...what is ok with a built engine? Posted by totaleklipse97, Sep-27-04 06:04 PM well it's hard to explain what sounds im having. i was wondering what kind of noises should i live with and expect after having this much engine work done. (it's all in my dsm registry) but mainly a full valve train replacement and bottom end. Sounds like lil ticks and thunks here and there. i can hear ticks from the injectors but sounds like some other ones that are hard to pinpoint what and were they originate from. Maybe this is a lil vauge but tell me what sounds you have and what they sound like that SHOULD be there. | |
