Most def boosted but do I take out the 2.0L and swap teh 2.4 or should I forge the 2.0L bottem and do the head.

My dad wants me to wait till I park it for the winter but shit, i still got a couple months left and this will not suffice. crappy mileage suxs.

I say build the stocker. Im sorry to say but not one person on here has made a 2.4 show any good numbers.

Build what is known to work.

stick to the 2.0, its going to be much easier for you to do the build yourself.

Depends on your level of involvement and dedication to fixing problems.

a sebring front clip is pretty much useless for you

seriously build the 2.0, you know it works you know guys can make good power on it and it's a simple drop in and no custom anything would be needed. Seriously think about all the work that has to be done and the things that could go wrong so easily with the 2.4 the 2.0 is proven. If you want to get some extra from the motor just get a long rod kit.

Not seen a 2.4 produce number.....James with all due respect your ass sucks buttermilk. The 2.4 produces really good numbers motor only if built right, the torque is said to be amazing and very hard to keep the wheels down off the line. Visit the neon boards. As for widebodied, he is frustrated, we all get there from time to time and want to say screw it.

Blizare if you can weld and enjoy fabricating then go 2.4, if you cannot then build your 2.0.

Personally i like the 2.4 and am leaning in the direction this winter. I just need a damn block.

as for james statement, hes a dumbass, visit the neon.org website, do some searches , theres similar setups to mine, with not as much headwork done make siueclipse acclaimed hp at 12-16 lbs of boost on a 20g. turbodave from over there just hit the dyno and pulled 343 whp and 387 pounds of torque, with 16 psis on a 20g i think. and he actually has a dyno sheet.

Okay. HRC's 9.20 Neon drag car. Now what?

I would build your stocker first to get back on the road. Get the 2.4 and do it as a winter project. that way you can take your time with it and it will come out perfect. if you were to go for it right now, you'd be rushing to get it done and you'd most probably end up doing it again later. remember the seven P's!! piss poor planning produces piss poor product. my 2...chris
