i found an older post with the power and "sensor" wire colors listed, but which one is the ground?

the last two are just in case you have similar problems.

thats all super fantasic "not what i asked" info... i already saw those, none of which says what color the ground is...
there is no black wire on the MAP sensor (at least not mine anyway)
i have:

black/green = power
green/black = ?
yellow/black = ?

which of the last two is the ground?

I have a book for a 95 and a 98 talon. I don't show a G-B wire...B-G at pin 1 (Goes to pin 5@ Joint Conn3 A-82, Grounded from pin 11 at ECM thru pin1 of J/C3 A-82), G-Y @ 2 (Goes to Pin 21@Joint Conn4 A-83 spliced to pins 19 and 20 same connector and picking up 5V from Pin 3 ECM) and Y-B @3 (from ECM connector Pin 29) of the connector.
Book says to check between pin 2 and ground for 4.7-5.2 volts and good continuity between 1 and ground. As you look at the connector, pins would be: top left is 1, 2 is top right and bottom mid is 3. Keep in mind this is 95. 98 uses same color wires and pin 3 is signal return to PCM, 2 is reference voltage and 1 is ground. Now that you know more than you cared to... Black and Green Should be your ground unless you have a totally different harness.
Maybe Dino has what you need? :cheers

holy shit, Really? cause my book, and other schematics shows black/green as 5v power to sensor...
:scratch

EDIT and CORRECTION: after doing more searching i see that there are a few different color combos for the MAP, so here is my CORRECTED color scheme:

black/green = power in
green/yellow = ?
yellow/black = ? (sensor output to ECU???)

if this is correct, then the green/yellow SHOULD??? be ground... right?

CORRECTED color scheme:
black/green = power in ~~~This is actually the wire grounded through the ECM
green/yellow = ? ~~~ This one should be your 5V ref. Voltage in to MAP
yellow/black = ? (sensor output to ECU???) ~~~ Yes this is Signal Return to ECM
if this is correct, then the green/yellow SHOULD??? be ground... right? See above
Keep in mind that this is from a 95 Talon Service manual. I looked at the 98 Talon and 97 Sebring/Avenger Manual as well. They are all in agreement as far as the color coding goes. It would stand to reason that the Eclipses would follow it as well since they are still DSM's.
Hope this helps! :cheers
