Hey guys. My current exhaust system is made up of greddy header/dp combo into a testpipe that mates up with a 2.5" Greddy EVO catback. When I'm not on the bottle, the exhaust is a bit "Hondish". I'm wondering if I should replace the testpipe with a 16" glasspack(which is a hard length to find) or get a larger 18"-24" glasspack put into the EVO piping. I'm thinking the second option is my best bet.

I'm leaning towards a thrush glasspack, however they come in a few "varieties".

Is bigger really better, or am I gonna have to be the guinea pig?

Replace your test pipe with this:

I've got a big ass Cherry bomb from autozone where my cat used to be J. Can't remember the length off hand, but I think it might be something like 30". She's still got some rasp above 4 grand at any temperature, but it sure helped open up the headwork for me. I don't know what the Thrush goes for, but I can tell you that my Cherry bomb from Autozone was under $40. While I'm thinking about it, if you go to Magnaflow's website, they have glasspacks too. I think you could even get one with a Y pipe (header into two of them). That might give you some ideas to play with as well. Two back into one might add some dampening or perhaps a cut out right there for the track. Just some ideas...

That's a test pipe. I know because I bought one of those. There is nothing in there to silence the sound. It's just a swollen pipe in between two flanges.
