79684, Silicone Radiator hose question...
Posted by jdpilot, Aug-26-04 11:05 AM
I have replaced my upper with a chrome flex tube. Looks badass imo. My lower is in need of replacing. I am thinking of red silicone to add a splash of red to my lower engine bay as my upper has a shitload of red. I also feel it will be easier to keep silicone looking clean rather than another flex pipe due to the close vicinity to road debris/exposure.

Is this crap;

I know OBX makes complete shit, but who can fuck up silicone (other than a horrible surgeon ;) lol) I know the auction ended on this one, but they are everwhere on ebay. Anyone got one? Are they OK quality? Any other companies make one for our cars?? This one is for he 420a??? Anyone wanna buy the upper off me if I get a set??? I only need the lower Thanks.

i run those on my car. they work good, just dont use normal clamps with them because the clamps will rip the silicone. you need to find some t clamps for them. they dont have any holes in them like standard clamps.
