I just got my Greddy Type S BOV put in my car and I still need to hook up the Vac. Lines. I provided some pics. There are two vacuum nipples on the back side of BOV but I dont know where i hook the other ends to. I bought some vac. lines so I have that just dont know where to connect them too. I tried searching but didnt come up with anything. Please help me out, sorry if it sounds like a noob question. Thanks for any info. -Todd- HipHop615@yahoo.com

The GReddy valve has two fittings for small vacuum lines on it. The top fitting is for the same hose that went to the original stock bypass valve, the hose that goes to the intake manifold. The lower fitting is normally left open. It is a vent for the lower chamber of the valve.

On some cars with large turbos, compressor surge at light throttle lifts can be further reduced by connecting the lower fitting to a pressure source. Typically a fitting is added to an I/C pipe between the turbo outlet and the valve. "

Ya I know that it hooks over to the Intake manifold but Im not sure where and on what fitting, do i need to get a "t" fitting?

The BOV should have a T fitting included. Just find one that is about tha same size and T off it.

Just "T" into on the the vacuum lines coming off the back of the intake manifold. You can get vacuum t's at any auto part store.

Thanks a lot for all of you help guys, I got it now, but its making that flutter noise now. I was reading up on some of the old posts and some people said raise the boost or I have to take apart the BOV?

I took mine apart and removed the smaller of the 2 springs.

can't you just adjust the BOV to get rid of the flutter...

too tight, you get flutter, too loose, you get boost leak...right.

Is it true you can get boost leak from softening the BOV too much? I got rid of most of the flutter from softening the BOV and now my car went from about 6psi to about 3-4psi, I have no idea why it is doing it, is it becuz of the BOV? I rather have my flutter and my boost back then have a "pssst" and lower boost.
