Hey all, Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

I was driving my RS tonight, when my friend in his Gs-t pulled up next to me and wanted togo at it .... i'm always up to the chance even though the last time i checked i had no turbo in my car. my buddy's basically done the same things that i have to his car ... intake, exhaust, straight pipe ... in fact i think that we have basically the same parts ... anyway, we both gun it at the light we're sitting at, and exactly when his turbo spools up to whatever stock boost is, it seriously feels like my car does the same thing. The only reason i'm saying this is because we were seriously side to side all the way down this road..... is there any explaination for this at all, i asked a few people i know and they can't explain it at all. I was hoping someone on here might know what it is ....

the only explanation would be that either he has a GS and not a GST or he just really sucks at driving.

or you have a GS-T?

i dunno if the driving thing would work out, cuz wouldnt he pull a bit ahead, and if he sucked at driving fall back to you on the shifts? not stay dead even the entire way?

well if this kid knows for a fact that he has an rs then the only way that its possible is that the other kid has a gs rather than a gst.

Well, considering you pretty much made a kill story post in the performance engine forum, your lack of being able to discern proper forums to post in leads me to think that you have an RS and he has a GS OZ Edition, which you simply assumed was a turbo. His intake makes more noise than yours does. No way you hang with one with those mods. Sorry.

i have no comment on whether or not he is smart enough to know if he has a turbo or not... but i will give him props on his sig!! chris

Have you popped your hood lately?

its jus fo dekarations mang, jus fo dekarations

Your car takes a while to feel like it starts to pull because of your exhaust. Withyour minimal mods the 3" pipe is too big. It take a while to get enough gas moving through your exhaust to point where the gas isn't cooling itself off and creating a restriction.
