Quieter? Yes. Flow as good? No.
I'd get a resonator welded in before you take the Magnaflow off.

i played around with resonators to get the sound i have now and i love it, never ever ever changing it.

You might want to see if you can find one of those adjustable silencers that fit in the muffler tip. It's not permanent and can be adjusted for flow / sound. I take mine off at the track and leave it on with the opening half way when normally driving. That made more of a difference than my resonator.

btw, im not worried about power loss.. its just a muffler there was no gains

I had my GST muffler on there for ages, I would take off for autox events etc etc. It finally just pooped out on me. :(. Cloged beyond belief. You could barley hear the car when it was running with that sucker on, adn I have 3" all the way back from the cat(no resonators). Now I'm running a 40$ schucks muffler. Sounds quiet, and way outflows that stupid gst muffler. I think its called a afterburner.

It's not completely quiet, but i can hear my intake louder than the exhaust with the silencer on.
