7916, Water Ingestion Part 2

I sucked up water over a week ago now and my car is still sputtering? Do you think maybe i got some of my electronics wet, such as my spark plugs?

DO you think an oil change may help get rid of any water in my motor?

If you haven't already done an oil change and changed out your plugs ... DO THEM NOW. If any water got past your rings down into your oil (almost a certainty) it's still sitting there. And your plugs probably have a lot of gunk and deposits on them. The water in the cylinders may have evaporated by now but I'm pretty sure it wasn't pure clean water you sucked up so there are gonna be deposits and crap in there.

Another good idea would be to change the oil again after another 1000 miles ... flushing the whole system would be a better idea but you don't have to do that if you don't want to.

Probably had abunch of gunk on them. You still change your oil if you haven't. Do a compression test too if you haven't already. Sucking up water into your engine is a BIG deal.
