This winter im gonna take off my muffler, and get a new one along w/ an OBX high flow cat, and custom piping from the cat back..ive heard alot of different things about mufflers, and im looking for one that has a deep throaty sound, but isnt really loud, especially at around 3k rpms b/c my muffler now is really annoying at highway speeds lol ...suggestions? (i have a vibrant muffler btw)

Mods: E-bay Intake, Vibrant Exhaust (both came w/ car), J Woodleys Ground Wire Kit

Future Mods: OBX High Flow Cat, Custom 2.5 inch piping w/ ?? muffler, AFX UDP, and a real CAI :)

i like the flowmaster, you just might need a glasspack so you dont get any rice around 3.5k rpms since your goin high-flo cat. Otherwise its consistantly mild and deep.

i was even thinking of getting a gst muffler..just because i wanna sound nothing like a honda lol, but if i could find something that im not gonna get that honda like sound with im gonna go with that

Well I'll tell you right now, the gst muffler will disapoint ya. The power loss is insane.
I have 3" from the cat back, then I had my exhaust guy weld up a flange that adapts to the stock type pipe, as so I can take on and off a quieter muffler. When I take off my 3" muffler and go to the gst muffler, it really sucks ass, as I loose power. Also it does not really sound cool. Too quiet in IMO.
