When I get a new clutch, I "drive like a pussy" for about 1,000 miles and then let her rip!!

BTW, it should be MOSTLY stop and go sorta driving.

When I bought my CM stage 4, Dino told me to beat the shit out of it right away. So I beat the shit out of right away....and then I need a new tranny. But yes, you should beat the shit out of it.

Ummm dont do that/\/\/\/\/\/\. Be patient and break it in properly, or most likely you or your shop will be pulling the tranny again to replace a glazed clutch.

I e-mailed Spec, because I just put in my stg 3 with an aluminum flywheel. All I got with it was a sheet that said "observe proper break-in for 450 miles." So I e-mailed Spec and asked them what "proper break-in" was. This is the response I got, and I've been following it. So far I have 250 miles on it.

Just normal around town driving without launching or speed shifting. Any rpm is ok, just refrain from racing for the period stated. This procedure will allow for the best clutch performance and life.

Thanks,
