im gonna get my muffler welded on and it has a 2.5" in let. i heard thta OEM RS piping is 2.5" is it exactly that or a lil more or less? i need to know to find out wht size adapter tube i need to buy so i can just put it over the muffler inlet and my factory pipe and weld it. thanks

2inch, wait no. if your getting an adapter for it get a 2in to 5in adapter. shit sounds awesomez yo

actually its 2.25 and you dont need an adapter to weld it on, the weld will make up the difference between the 2.25 and 2.5"
I did it with mine got a flowmaster muffler with a 2.5" inlet and just weled it right on to the 2.25 piping. now Im 2.5 all the way though, flowmaster should be called a rustmaster

2.25" OD. 2" ID.
