I just replaced my 420a with another 420a because #2 and #4 cuclinders were shot. Anyways the new motor is having trouble starting up, almost like the battery is dead, it goes "wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wahwahwahwha" Then it starts. It's sounds like an old car in the middle of winter in Minnesota. Anyone have any ideas? The place that installed the engine said it ws because the battery isn't fully charged but I drove home an hour and a half away and it's still doing it. Thanks guy

Is the alternator hooked up and charging?

as far as I know, I dont know why the shop wouldn't have hooked it up. How can I test it? I have a volt meter on my turbo timer and it's stay around 14-15 volts

the battery might not be retaining full charge. Same shit happen to mine. Swap the battery cause its prolly it or the ground cables.
