Ok I am in the process of putting on a bigger TB. So as I am taking the stock one off, I unplug the two sensors on the firewall side of the TB, the little tube thing on the top, and the other sensor that is like on the bottom underneath where the intake tube is. I loosen up the bolts holding it to the intake manifold and am ready for it to come off, but it doesnt. The sensor that is on the bottom, the other half is connected to that little metal piece that screws onto the TB. From the way it sits in there, i couldnt get the screw off so i was thinking about just cutting the metal bracket. It looks like it just holds that bottom sensor up so i figured i would be alright without it. So would this be ok? Sorry this was so long, dont really know what each sensor is for so i had to explain where it was. Thanks

That metal bracket just holds a wiring harness connector. You can pop the connector off of the bracket. It will be a bitch, so you can just jam a screwdriver in between the bracket and the connector. It may break the plastic clip on the connector, but that is ok. Just take a closer look at it and you'll see.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly ^^^ That clip shouldn't be holding you up from removing your TB. It's probably just a bit stuck to the gasket or something. Just give it a light tap with a hammer. Should drop right off.

that wire thing was stuck on mine when i took mine off for porting.. broke the clip, now zip ties are holding it on.
