I have a 96 Eclipse GS with an ABS problem (the warning light comes on when i start driving). the people from the garage told me that it was the ABS unit who caused the problem.

Is it possible that the unit is broken ? IMO this is just electronics and nothing mechanical, so what could be the problem here ? and this is a very expensive part...

Does anyone know where exacly this unit is in the car ? I can't seem to be able to locate it...
