7750, temp gauge sensor Posted by pancito, Nov-20-01 08:47 AM
where can i find the sensor from my stock temp gauge, i fixed the radiator light buy resseting the ECU, but i checked for loose wires, now the light is on, but i have no temp gauge.
i have fucking toilet hands, everything i touch turns in to shit, sorry just venting...i like doing stuff to my car im not very mechanic oriented, but i try, but it cost me more to do stuff my self and the take it to a mechanic to fix the shit i broke, then to take it to a mechanic...
Later and TIA

I believe the coolant temperature sensor is directly under the upper radiator hose on the thermostat housing. Check it for loose wires orsigns of coolant leaking onto it. If it got soaked it's probably shorted and should be replaced. I don't believe they're expensive.
