An ATX's mount is simply fatter, wider rubber. It's about 1/4" wider on each side, and the rubber cube cutouts on the inside are much smaller, almost nonexistant.
This is because an ATX is a fat pig.
I think if you REALLY wanted to hang an ATX off a little skinny MTX rubber mount, you shoud buy the Prothane Motor mount inserts for a 2GNT MTX and stiffen that bitch up ALOT.

I am running just an NRG front insert in mine (auto) and it does help a tad. Not as much if I had a rear in as well of course, but the whole car does vibrate a little at idle now. Its badass!
