NO, that last part is not a gay metaphor...I want to log the data from my ecu...what is the best place to get stuff from..I heard of free software to download..but I need the wires and special connector...any suggestions?? I searched, but nothing for laptop tunning and other variances..

thats what I use and it works very well. Lets you log forever and clear codes as well.

I bought my cables and software from that page. It will work well and it isn't that expensive.

I find it to be the best option
let me know if you need assistance or anything. there is a lot of freeware/shareware out there that supports the obd-2 protocol. i have several versions running on my car-puter with the same cable from obd-2.com

I haven't been able to connect with OBD2.com's software yet. Could be cause Im not computer savvy, is there a walk-through somewhere of how to set it up on your computer?
