77297, Engine's movement Posted by miamilakeseclipse, Jul-08-04 08:11 AM
Hey, i had my mounts replaced about 8 months ago, now i have the feeling that the shop that did it used shitty mounts b/c i see my engine now, you turn it on and it starts to move. It hasn't gotten bad tooo bad but i was wondering could it be anything else other than the mounts?

You could have a bad mount even thought they are relatively new. I think that the stock mounts are crap anyway. Also, if you have experienced some wheel-hop on an aggressive launch or something, you may have broken the rear mount-transaxle bracket. I know that has been problematic for me in the past. A few other peeps have experienced the same thing. Also I find that the mount under the battery is very prone to breaking due to wheel hop.
Check all the mounts out and go from there.
