got the car running last night it was running very good in the garage vacume was aobut 18 today vacume was about 12
and i took it around the block felt good came back adjusted the fp went back around the breather is smoking a little i got on it for a second and then it made a loud ass clunk and grind or somthing so i coasted to my house turned it off and started it back up put it in gear and all it does is grind and crap
turned it off put in in 1st and the car pushed in all gears (i dunno aobut reverse) but it pushed with the car off
and then did a comp test 165 across the board i think my comp tester is shitty changed the plugs and started it up and the exhaust was smoking ike oil smoke

My setup is
8.8 pistons total seal rings .020 over
Eagle rods
Ported and polished head 1mm oversized valves
crane 18 cams
pt lifters and rockers
crower springs and retainers
aluminum intake and ported lower intake
t3t4 turbo
60mm tb
retro fit diff
and the list goes on but if anyone has anyideas let me no

Ok i talked to a well known 420a guru. And he said it could be a head gasket washed teh rings out the ring gap is to much. Or the rings have moved or where put in inline.

Car was running rich but soon as the trans acted up if it is that the motor started smoking. Anyone have anyideas i assume i need to rip into the motor no mater what.

When i start the car it runs for about a minute and then it starts to smoke smoke out the exhuast and the breather could it be the turbo.

I started it back up today and it took ab out a minute for it to start smoking am going to take a look at the turbo.

maybe a dumb question... Did you get new gas?

Sometimes the obvious eludes us.

Gas is old from march or so. It is 94 octane i don't think it would make it smoke like this.

Ok took the plugs out and no oil on them either.really thinking it could be the turbo but did have smoking coming out of the breahter no smoke in the dip stick tube all coolant there and no coolent in oil. I am going to check the intercooler pipes for oil and if there is no oil the motor is coming back out still havn't checked the trans that will come out this weekend too.

Did you take it for a breakin run?

My bet is you have a lot of shit that is burning off. Check the valve that connects your tb to the valve cover, it might need replacing if positive pressure is passing through that valve.
