76909, some questions before i purchase plug wires and such Posted by EclipsedChef, Jul-01-04 06:03 PM
How important is the plug gap, as in, should it be set on or around .050 for sure? Right now i have mine gapped to .042, what they came out of the box from ngk. Im running one range hotter plugs fyi. Also, my ngk plug wires are over two years old, ive disconnected them MANY MANY times, would this slowly make the wires pull apart from themselves and lose connection? When the car is driven for 20 minutes or so(full operating temps only) I get a lovely hesitation/miss and im only able to spend a little cash on this every paycheck. Plug wires, fuel filter, fuel pump relay, and the crank angle sensor are the LAST pieces that really need to be changed out here. When the car misses i smell gas(maybe clogged fuel filter). I know ive rambled alot over the past week or so but i just need a little backup before i waste money again. Thanks for the space.

No one made you give me the sensor, i was in need and you said you'd send it without a problem cause you were helping a 2gnter out, i'll return the sensor to you. Pm me your address and i'll send it out.
