76880, Exhaust System Setup Question.

I have 2 questions to ask.

1. I have a 96 eclipse RS and was wondering what size the original exhaust system was while I'm looking at new stuff?

2. I'm planning on buying a new header, high flow cat, and cat-back exhaust but need it to be affordable and not a loud raspy sound. I'm thinking right now of the following setup.

Weapon R 4-1 Two Piece Stainless Header
Arospeed High-Flow Catalytic Converter
Pacesetter Big-Bore Monza Exhaust system

I'm looking to keep it small but would like to get something out of it at the same time. I was also looking for something with a dual tip look but still a "somewhat" quiet deep sound.

Let me know what you think of this?

The most affordable bet for you would be to get a GST rear section. Dual tips, and handles up to 300hp just fine. Then replace the cat with a glass pack (Cherrybomb). That's all your "hi-flo cat" on eBay will be. And then you can replace the rest of the straight piping with some 2.5" you buy locally from a hardware store or exhaust shop. Shouldn't be more than maybe $25 for all of that imo.

Yea that's pretty much gonna sound like just the opposite of what you want. Get a Greddy evo or Apex-i N1 and be done with it.

go with the obx header, testpipe, and greddy evo. it'll sound great imo.
